A useful starting point
Plan the whole replacement layout
Review the roofline
If you’re considering new gutters, I’ll inspect your roofline, the condition of your existing gutters and how water reaches the downspouts. We can discuss seamless replacement options and any repairs needed around the attachment points.
Consider what can stay
You can also ask about keeping your current gutters. If they’re in suitable condition, repair, cleaning or adding guards may be worth considering. Before installing guards, I’ll check that the gutters drain properly and explain any work needed first.

Can I replace only part of the gutter system?
Sometimes. The remaining sections must be sound and the connections must work with the replacement. Ask about differences in profile, color and condition, and whether a partial replacement leaves the original drainage concern unresolved.
